This award was presented to me when I was in Secondary 1. When I first received the news that all the teachers in my school had chosen me for an award in excellence in the arts, I was shocked and confused. I thought to myself, “Wait... excellence in the arts? I thought my art grades were an F9?” To clarify, I asked the teacher who informed me about the award.

It was then that I discovered a new definition of "arts." I was selected for this award not because of my traditional art grades, but due to my dedication and hard work in the Media Club. I went the extra mile by staying back to keep the equipment organized and arriving early to set up for school events. My teachers recognized my contributions and selected me for this award as a result of my diligence and efforts in supporting the school's media activities.
